World Desert limits collection to information useful for answering an enquiry, qualifying a project and following up the corresponding commercial request.
Data collected
First name, email, optional phone number, preferred period, requested experience, message, landing page and attribution parameters that may be present in the URL. The marketing form does not ask for diagnoses, treatment, trauma or detailed mental-health data.
Purposes
- answer your enquiry and provide available information;
- assess whether the requested experience fits your project;
- with the consent collected, share your details with the relevant organising agency when necessary;
- measure enquiry origin when you accept analytics and advertising cookies.
Legal basis
Responding to an enquiry relies on pre-contractual steps initiated by the user and, where required, consent. Non-essential trackers do not load before acceptance.
Retention
Prospect data is kept for no more than three years from the last active contact, unless a shorter period is appropriate, a legal obligation applies or a valid deletion request is made.
Recipients
World Desert and, when required to process your request, the organising agency for the relevant trip. Technical providers access data only as needed to deliver the service.
Transfers outside the EEA
If contact details need to be shared with an organising agency in Tunisia, the transfer is made to process the requested trip and under the applicable legal framework. The departure information identifies the relevant organiser.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction or objection where applicable, and withdraw consent for the future. You may also contact the competent supervisory authority.
